Prayer Ministry

Prayer1

Prayer is one of CCC’s five core values and focuses us on our humble dependence on God. We are devoted to a life of prayer because it aligns us with God’s will and unleashes the Spirit’s work in and through us. We believe God will do great things through our church body when we pray, and we encourage everyone at CCC to communicate with God through prayer. Prayer should punctuate our conversations and fuel our lives and ministry.

We have a team of prayer intercessors that meets at 8:45 on Sunday mornings to pray for our worship services, church leadership and special prayer requests. We also have a time specifically devoted to corporate prayer on Wednesday nights at 7:00. We love to praise God and give thanks when your prayers are answered.

We would also honor the opportunity to pray on your behalf! If you have something you would like us to pray about, simply click here. All prayer requests are confidentially distributed only to CCC’s Intercessory Prayer Team.

Prayer is a learned spiritual practice. Even Jesus’ disciples said, “Lord, teach us to pray”. Prayer education is an ongoing discipline at CCC, and small “snippets”, called “Prayer Bricks” are incorporated into nearly every meeting or gathering under CCC’s umbrella. These prayer bricks can be accessed in the link list box to the left.
